Obituary	MRS. CELIA S. BUGBEE Mrs. Celia Stairs Bugbee, 86, died Saturday at the home of her grandson, Charles Sheldon Carter, in Lubbock, Tex., where she has made her home for the past 10 years. Services were held at Lubbock, then the remains were brought to Dexter where services were held Thursday afternoon at the Crosby Funeral Home with the Rev. Howard Benson of The Methodist Church officiating. Bearers were: Durwood Vulner of Dover-Foxcroft; Henry Foley, Winterport; Harvey Price and Harry Westgate, Dexter. Burial was in the family lot at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. Born in Frederickton, N. B. in December of 1871, Mrs. Bugbee was the daughter of Westley and Etta Thornton Stairs. She was a member of the Episcopal Church of Lubbock. A retired school teacher, she had lived in Dexter for nearly 30 years before going to Texas. She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Charlotte B. Carter of Lubbock; two sons, Glen of Dover- Foxcroft and Shirley of Dexter; one sister, Mrs. Carrie Landeen of Dexter, presently in Lubbock; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren also survive as well as nieces and nephews.
