Obituary
EDWARD A. PEARL Edward A. Pearl, 82, died Saturday at the local hospital after a short illness. Funeral services were held at the Crosby Funeral parlor on Monday. The Rev. Roy Manley officiating. Bearers were Leon Pearl, George Nadeau, Albert Staffna and Gene Hall. Burial was in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. Mr. Pearl was born Jan. 15, 1876, in Charleston, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Pearl. He had lived in Dexter for 40 years. He was employed in the local woolen mills and as a farmer. He was a former member of the Odd Fellows Lodge in Milo. He is survived by two sons, Ralph and George, of Dexter; four brothers, Everett of Bradford, Maurice of Richmond, Winfield of Guilford, and Henry of Greenville, S. C.; three sisters, Mrs. Emma Farmer, Old Town, Mrs. Nettie Brawn, Dover-Foxcroft, Mrs. Charlotte Allen, Canaan; three grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
