Obituary	NELLIE MAUDE SHEPHERD Funeral services for Nellie Maude Shepherd were held this afternoon (Thursday) at the Crosby Funeral Home with the Rev. Richard J. Norsworthy officiating, Mrs. Shepherd died Tuesday morning at. the Plummer Memorial Hospital after a short illness. Born in Charleston Jan. 15, 1876, the daughter of Weston 0. and Sybil (Richardson) Bean, she lived on a Charleston farm until 1914, when with her patents she moved to Maple st., Dexter, where she resided until her death. In 1944 she was married to the late Luman C. Shepherd of Dexter. She attended the Universalist Church and was a member of the Dexter Grange and Martha Washington Rebekah Lodge. She is survived by several cousins.
