Obituary	MRS. CORA MAY EASLEY Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at the Crosby Funeral Home at Dexter for Mrs. Cora May Easley, 76, widow of Richard 0. Easley, who died suddenly Saturday at her home on the Upper Garland rd. The Rev. Howard E. Benson of the Methodist Church officiated. Bearers were grandsons, Clifford Richards, Hampden; John Easley Bangor; Herbert Clough, G. M, 3, USN., Boston; and Richard Wasley, Wethersfield, Conn. Interment was in the family lot at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Dexter. Mrs. Easley was born in South Dakota on Dec. 27, 1881, daughter of the late John A. and Mary (Quigg) Hutchins. The family moved to Florida, where she was married to Richard 0. Easley. Later, they moved to Dexter where they have lived for 59 years. To them were born four children, two of whom survive, Harold V. of Dexter and Ralph 0. of N. Newport. She is also survived by a sister, Mrs. Sands Chipman, of Boston; 13 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Mrs. Easley founded the Pleasant Neighbors Club 48 years ago by inviting a group of neighbors to her home for a gathering and dinner. Of the 11 original members, only two are now living. For years the club met in the homes, but later purchased the Carr Schoolhouse for a meeting place.
