Obituary
PAUL E. VAUGHN Funeral services were held this afternoon, Thursday, at the Dexter Methodist Church for Paul E. Vaughn, 66, who died suddenly at his home Monday evening. The Rev. Howard E. Benson officiated and members of Poulliot-Seavey Post, American Legion were bearers. The remains were entombed to await spring burial in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. The husband of Mabel Vaughn, he was born in Bridgeport, Ohio, June 22, 1891, son of James and Catherine Vaughn. He had made his home in Dexter for about 45 years, and the greater part of that time was employed as a percher at the Amos Abbott Woolen Mill. He was a veteran of Wolrd War I; a member of Poulliot-Seavey Post 53, American Legion; Penobscot Lodge No. 39, A. F. and A. M., and the Methodist Church. Besides his wife he is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Dorothy Mollhan of California and Mrs. Phyllis Pratt of Sanford.
