Obituary	MRS. FLAVILLA WHITMAN Mrs. Flavilla Whitman, 85, died Feb. 21 at a Bangor hospital where she had been moved from a Dexter Nursing Home where she had been for several years. She was born in Corinna Nov. 9, 1872, the daughter of John and Ferviah Potter Blaisdell. She had lived the most of her life in Corinna. Mrs. Whitman was a member of the Pleasant Street Corinna Christian Church. She is survived by two daughters Mrs. Ruth Myers of Newport, N. H., and Mrs. Marjorie Godreau of Dexter, 16 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. The funeral services were held at the Pleasant St. Christian Church Monday with Rev. Paul Heath, the pastor, conducting the service. The remains will be entombed at the Corinna Center tomb for spring burial in the Morse's Corner Cemetery.
