Obituary	MRS. WALTER A. SMITH Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at the Crosby Funeral Home for Mrs. Minnie M. Smith, 53, wife of the Rev. Walter A Smith, pastor of the Dexter Pentecostal Church, who died Saturday at their home on Russ st, after a long illness. The Rev Eugene Kimball of Portland officiated. Interment was in the Moody Cemetery, Somerville. She was born in Somerville, May 2, 1904, daughter of Edwin M. and Abbie (Blastow) French and was educated in the schools in that town. The Smiths moved to Dexter four years ago from Bradford. She was a member of the Pentecostal Church. Besides her husband, she is survived by two sons, Edwin of Derry, N. H, and Roger of Dexter; a daughter, Mrs. Madeline O'Bar, of Prospect, Conn, two sisters, Mrs. Lizzie Pierpont, Waldoboro and Mrs. Ethelyn Fuller, Searsmont; two brothers, George and Maynard French, both of Somerville; eight grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and cousins.
