Obituary	EDWIN F. WITHAM Funeral services were held this afternoon, Thursday, at the Crosby Funeral Home for Edwin F. Witham, 57, husband of Vesta Witham, who died Sept. 23 at the Plummer Hospital after a long period of failing health. Ralph Smart of the Church of Christ officiated. Bearers were: George Abbott, Harold Aery, Terrance Gilbert and Blaine Williams, all of Dexter. Burial was in Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Dexter. He was born in Parkman, Feb. 22, 1900, son of William and Annie Bell Grant Witham. For 19 years he had been a resident of Dexter and had been employed the greater part of the time at the Amos Abbott Company. Survivors besides his wife are three stepsons, Earl Morey of Rockville, Conn., Edward Morey, Oklahoma City, Okla., and Wilfred Morey, Dexter; four step-daughters, Mrs. Kenneth Kelton, Hartford, Conn., Mrs. Ralph Thompson, Mrs. Alton Cross and Mrs. Warren Saunders, all of Dexter; and a daughter, Beverly Witham of Dexter.
