Obituary
MRS. FRED ORDWAY Mrs. Izetta G. Ordway, 69, of Corinna, wife of Fred Ordway, died Tuesday morning at the Plummer Memorial Hospital,, Dexter, after a short illness. Funeral services will be held at her home in Corinna, Friday at 2 p. m., the Rev. Harold Wheeler, a former pastor of the Free Baptist Church, officiating assisted by the present pastor, the Rev. Lynwood Putnam. Friends may call Thursday afternoon and evening and Friday morning. Burial will be in the Morse's Corner Cemetery. She was born in Mapleton, Mar. 14, 1888, daughter of Edmond and May (Harris) Coffin. She was a graduate of Corinna Union Academy and had held several offices in the Grange during her 48 years of membership in that organization. She was a member of the Free Baptist Church at Dexter. The Ordways made their home in Dexter for about 10 years moving to the family farm in Corinna five years ago. Besides her husband, Fred, she is survived by a son, Earle Ordway of Corinna; two sisters, Mrs. Edith Robbins of Sebec and Mrs. Ethel Cole of Dover-Foxcroft; a brother, Ernest Coffin of Hancock, Md., a granddaughter, nieces and nephews.
