Obituary
Napoleon Peter Clukey Napoleon Peter Clukey, 85, died Thursday night at his home on High street. He was born in St. Joseph, Canada the son of William and Marceline Pooler Clukey but came to Dexter with his parents when he was a small boy, and has resided in this town ever since. Mr. Clukey worked in the woolen mills in town for many years, retiring about fifteen years ago, and for the past few years he has been assisting the shoe repair shop of Arthur Carroll. His first wife, Lizzie Dyer, died in 1933 and in 1936 he married Mrs. Amelia Burke. He is survived by his wife, and the following children all of Dexter: Mrs. Lena Higgins, John O. Clukey, Bernard Clukey, Mrs. Flora Gilbert, Clifford Clukey, Arthur Clukey, Eddie N. Clukey, Fred Clukey, Mrs. Evelyn Frautten, Mrs. Cecile Cote, Mrs. Freda Mountain. Funeral services were held Saturday morning at St. Annes Catholic church with the Rev. C. J. Enright officiating. Bearers were six grandsons, Harold Mountain, Bradley Cote, Alton Clukey, Lawrence Clukey, Bernard Frautten. and Ludger Higgins. Interment was in Mount Pleasant cemetary.
