Obituary	VERA PACKARD Funeral services will be held at the Crosby Funeral Home Saturday at 2 p. m. for Miss Vera Packard, 63, who died Wednesday at the Cushman Convalescant Home after a long illness. The Rev. Ralph Smart of The Church of Christ will officiate. Burial will be in the family lot in the Evergreen Cemetery, Garland. She was born in Garland December 18, 1893, daughter of Harvey and Addie (Amazeen) Packard. She came to Dexter from Garland and operated a taxi in this town for several years. She attended the Free Baptist Church. Survivors are two sisters, Mrs. Erma Colbath of Dexter and Mrs. Muriel Day of Garland, several nieces and nephews.
