Obituary	DEXTER - Brent "Papa" Stewart, age 70, passed away on Monday, June 2nd due to heart complications at Northern Light EMMC in Bangor. He was born on July 2, 1954, in Haynesville, ME. Brent was the heart and soul of the entire family and will be forever remembered for his laughter, his gift for joking with anyone he met, his kindness, and his ability to put a smile on anyone's face regardless of the situation. Growing up, Brent had it hard, but he never let his circumstances affect the way he treated others - and he never let them hold him back. While working in New Hampshire, Brent met his wife of almost 40 years, and together they raised six amazing children. He enjoyed hunting with the boys and his granddaughters, and fishing in the spring whenever he had the chance. A devoted fan of Dale Earnhardt, Brent rarely missed a race or a Red Sox game on TV. If you didn't spot him mowing, plowing, or at the Dunkin' drive-through, you likely saw him sitting on his porch or riding the back roads with his best buddy, Ernie. Brent was always spending time with family, especially his grandchildren. He was fortunate to enjoy many special moments in life - from Red Sox games and an airplane ride over Greenville to his recent trip to Tennessee to see the Grand Ole Opry, and many more. Brent is predeceased by his father, Robert Stewart, and his mother, Dottie Knight. He leaves behind his beloved wife of nearly 40 years, Beverly Ste4wart, six children: daughter Julie Richardson and husband Robbie of Wytopitlock, ME; son Robert Ranquist and wife Erin of Dexter, ME; son Travis Stewart and wife Manda of St. Albans, ME; son Brent Stewart Jr. ad girlfriend Katie Mae of Dexter, ME; daughter Amanda Steward and husband Darryl of Pleasant Shade, TN; and daughter Rose/Anna Stewart and husband Brian Lawson of Dexter, ME. He also leaves behind 14 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, his sister Shelley, two brothers, many nieces and nephews, and countless special friends made throughout the years. In keeping with Brent's wishes, there will be no formal funeral service. A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, June 29th at 1PM at the Dexter Regional High School Cafeteria in Dexter, Maine - where Brent enjoyed working for many years.
