Obituary
DEXTER - A friend to all, Pauline Normandie (DuBois), age 90, passed away peacefully at The Courville on April 23, 2025, in Nashua, New Hampshire. Born on March 31, 1935, Pauline lied a full and vibrant life marked by deep connections with family, friends, and community. She was predeceased by her beloved husband John Normandie and their son John Normandie Jr., as well as her cherished companion in later years, Dick Jennings. Pauline is lovingly remembered by her four daughters: Jill Blakeman, Cynthia Normandie, Lisa McGuigan, and Kristi Bouchard. She also leaves behind numerous beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren who brought immense joy to her life. Known for her warmth and boundless kindness, Pauline had a gift for making friends wherever she went. Her husband John often said of her, "Pauline is a friend to all who has no friends," a sentiment that perfectly captures her generous spirit. Whether in Hollis, New Hampshire or Dexter, Maine - where she spent her retirement years - Pauline formed lasting friendships with people from all walks of life. Her sense of humor and engaging personality made her a joy to be around. She found happiness in simple pleasures: singing in the choir at her Catholic church, sharing laughter over games of cribbage with Dick Jennings, or taking long scenic drives through the countryside. Together with Dick, she also gave back to the community through volunteer work in Dexter. A graveside service will be held to honor Pauline's life on Friday, May 2, 2025, at Saint Louis De Gonzague Cemetery, Nashua, New Hampshire. Pauline's legacy lives on through the love she shared and the many lives she touched. May her memory bring comfort to those who knew and loved her.
