Obituary	Scarborough - Beverly Constance Gerry of Dover-Foxcroft passed away Dec. 13, 2024, at the age of 94. Connie was born in Mechanic Falls, Maine, and grew up in Dexter. She is survived by her daughter, Nanette MacVane of Dexter; daughter, Jennifer Cantara of Saco; son, Christopher Clukey of Dover-Foxcroft; and son, Andrew Clukey of Dexter. Connie is also survived by her grandson, Philip Diolio of Monson; granddaughter, Jessica Burgess of Saco; and grandson, Alexander Clukey, and granddaughter, Evelyn Clukey, both of Dexter. She also has one great-grandson, Noah Burgess. For a number of years she had been employed at Covered Bridge Motel as the motel housekeeper but was also asked to make pies at the close by restaurant, because they were so good. Connie enjoyed grocery shopping, cooking, gardening, the coast looking for sea glass, lighthouse, moosehead furniture, yard sales, berry picking and ceramics. She loved time with her family and friends. She always made sure everyone was fed and would be the last to sit at meal times. She also loved all the dogs who accompanied her through life. She will be forever loved. A celebration of life and graveside are both planned for spring. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to your favorite animal shelter at the request of the deceased.
