Obituary	GARLAND - Wayne D. Haskell, 86, died Jan. 18, 2025, at St. Joseph Hospital Bangor. He was born May 2, 1938, in Hermon. The son of Lewis Arthur and Arlene (Gordon) Haskell. Wayne graduated from Hermon High and Husson College with a BBA. WAYNE was bank manager of Merrill Trust, later Fleet Bank, from which he retired. He was a member of the Anah Shrine, Husson basketball team, the Maine Horsepullers Assoc., Pres. of Abbott Memorial Library, Scottish Rite and Maine Masonic Mason. He had tremendous love for his horses, horse pulling friends and won numerous ribbons and prizes. Wayne was predeceased by his parents, and 3 brothers Robert, Lewis Jr, and James. Surviving in addition to his wife Linda P. Haskell is his sister BJ, husband Frank Kendall of WA., his son Scott Haskell of Va., daughters Lynne Deane of Ma., Joy, husband Steve Kennedy and daughter Mackenzie of NJ., Tamara, husband James Leavitt of St. Albans, grand-daughters Rachel and Savanna Leavitt and great-grandson Liam Shaw. Wayne struggled his last few months at home and St. Josephs with diabetes, kidney failure, dementia, Parkinson, and congestive heart failure. A special thanks to our friends who were there for him and his acceptance to God and Jesus Christ. Committal will be in the spring of 2025 at Evergreen Cemetery, Garland, Maine.
