Obituary	DEXTER - Deborah I. Hartley, 72, passed away on October 2nd, 2024, after a strong and courageous fight against cancer. She was the best wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friends anyone could ask for. Debbie was born in Dexter, Maine on November 30th, 1951. She was the daughter of Frederick and Wilma Greeley. Debbie touched many lives but the ones most important to her were her husband, her three sons, and her four grandsons. She loved her family and all the laughter shared at family gatherings and enjoyed spending time with closed extended family and friends at Penobscot Valley Acres Campground each season. She had a huge hearts and it showed through her career as a Nurse and when she volunteered at the food cupboard during her retirement years. Debbie is survived by her husband, Robert, Hartley of Dexter; three sons Buddy Hartley and wife, Jessica Harley, of Mattawamkeag; Jerry Hartley and wife, Cathy Hartley, of Freedom; Jamie Hartley and girlfriend, Kelly Siegel, of Holden, four grandsons Nate Hartley of Bangor, Caden Hartley of Brewer, Terner Hartley of Holden, and Aaron Hartley of Freedom; sisters, brothers, nieces, and nephews. Debbie was predeceased by her parents, several sisters and brothers. A Celebration of Life was held on Sunday, October 13th.
