Obituary	DEXTER - Lynne G. Dyer, 83, died January 8, 2024 at a Pittsfield hospital with his family by his side. Lynne was 83 years old, born in 1940, the oldest son of Gilbert F and Vivian D. Dyer. Lynne started school in a 1 room schoolhouse and later at Palmyra Grammar School, he graduated from Newport High School in 1958. Lynne was a hard working man from a farm boy growing up to factory jobs. He worked at Dexter Shoe for 35 years and than Walpole. He worked hard to keep his yard up and enjoyed working in his garage. He spent many years hunting and later enjoyed WWE wrestling. He also spend many hours watching old westerns. Lynne was saved as a young man and prayed nightly for peace. He is survived and loved by his wife of 62 years, Lula (Hatch) Dyer; 2 daughters, Patricia Watson and husband, Mark, Diannah Robinson; special niece Teresa Henderson; brother, Allan and wife Courtney, Jason Robinson and Dominique Johnston; 2 great grandsons, Damion and Joshua Robinson; many nieces, nephews, cousins. He will be greatly missed by many family and friends. He was predeceased by sister, Donna and her husband Harry Hatch; 2 brother, Donn and Frank Dyer. A celebration of life to be announced at a later date.
