Obituary	Dexter - Robert L. Choiniere, 82, died January 9, 2024, at his residence. He was born June 13, 1941, in Worcester, MA, a son of Eli and Rita (Groleau) Choiniere. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps for 4 years. He retired as a supervisor for United Parcel Service and moved to Maine. Bob enjoyed his family, gardening, fishing and hunting and was a member of the Charleston Church. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Barbara (Gage) of Dexter; 2 sons, Robert of Dexter, Scott and wife, Virginia, of Palmyra; a daughter, Carolyn and husband, Brian Scannell, of West Point, GA; 8 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and his Goddaughter and niece, Jill Choiniere of CT. Funeral services will be held noon Monday, January 15, at Charleston Church, where friends may call from 11 a.m. until the time of service.
