Obituary	Corinna - Gaylon Lloyd Irish, 64, of Corinna, Maine, passed away on August 21, 2023 in his hometown. Born on May 30, 1959, in Dexter, Maine to Gaylon & Marian Irish. Gaylon attended Corinna schools for his primary education and graduated from Nokomis Regional High School in 1978. he furthered his education at KVCC in Fairfield, ME, earning an Associate degree. Throughout his career, Gaylon worked at Irving Tanning in Hartland, Maine as a care worker. He was a hardworking and dedicated employee, leaving a lasting impact on those he worked with. Outside of work, Gaylon had a passion for sports. He played baseball and basketball during his school years and was an avid follower of the Red Sox, Celtics and Bruins. In recent years, due to health limitations, Gaylon found solace in reading his bible and watching television. Gaylon was a loving son, brother, uncle and friend. He will be deeply missed by his mother and stepfather, Marian and Edward Labonte; brothers, Jeffrey & Debra Irish of Clinton, Scott Irish; sister, Tara & James Chabot of Corinna; stepbrothers, Chris Labonte, Scott & Ana Labonte of Connecticut, Gary Labonte & Erin of Ohio; 2 nephews and 2 nieces. Gaylon is preceded in death by his father, Gaylon L. Irish Sr. In accordance with his wishes, there will be no services held for Gaylon. His memory will be cherished by all who knew him, and his kind and loving nature will never be forgotten.
