Obituary
PALMYRA – Aaron K. Chadbourne passed away on March 21, 2023. Aaron was born April 3, 1967, in Dexter to Ivan and Joan (Taylor) Chadbourne. Aaron grew up in Ripley and graduated from Dexter High School in 1985. He got his CDL and Diesel Mechanic Certificate, both through Dexter Regional Vocational Center, before he turned 18. He loved being a truck driver and worked for various companies for over 15 years before moving to Palmyra and starting his own trucking business. He loved taking lots of pictures of trucks and places that he had been all over the United States. He was always buying chrome to “pimp” his trucks. He fulfilled his dream of owning a “super truck” with custom dining room, bedroom, shower, kitchen with hardwood floors and with central vac. He loved to take it up to the farm and show his dad and mom all the bells and whistles it had. He sold his trucks in 2004 to start a new adventure by going to college in the CADD program and graduating with honors. That same year he got his motorcycle license and bought his first Harley Davidson. He rode all over Maine and New Hampshire. In 2009 he got really sick and became disabled. After becoming disabled he could no longer ride as much. He was known for sitting in his garage watching traffic go by the house and polishing bike parts. In 2019 while out riding with friends, a deer t-boned him in Canaan and he ended up with a Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) which forever changed his life. He never fully recovered from the brain injury. Aaron is survived by his wife of 28 years, Darlene, His son Nathan, his stepchildren Bryan Fanjoy, his partner Cheyan, Amanda Fanjoy, her partner Jonathan, his seven grandchildren, his brothers Bernard, Neil, Ike, and their families. And by his mother in law Ruth Murphy, his sister in-laws Sharlene Hill, husband Samuel Hill Sr., Dr. Lauren Mayhew, and their families. And by numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. Aaron was predeceased by his mom and dad, his nephew Jeremy Lane, and his brother-in-law, George Francis. There will be a celebration of life taking place at St. Albans Union Church at 11 a.m., on May 6, 2023. A private family spring burial will be at a later date.
