Obituary	DEXTER - Gloria Mane (Provost) Ramsdell, 90, went to be with the Lord on December 8, 2021. She was born December 9, 1930, daughter of Maurice Provost and Ruth (Keefe) Provost. She had 7 siblings Maurice, Roy, Shirley, Clifford, Marlene, Richard and Ramona. She attended St. Anne's Church with her family where they all sat at the same pew every Sunday for years. She also was the member of Daughters of Isabella. Gloria attended Dexter High School and went on to waitress at several local establishments. On October 21, 1950 Gloria was joined in the bonds of holy matrimony by Reverend Enright, with her brother Clifford and sister Marlene as witness, to Theron Ramsdell where they celebrated 64 years until Theron's passing in 2015. They had 4 sons Kevin, Kim, Brent and Maurice and moved to Massachusetts where they raised their family. Gloria also worked at Ratheron and Astro circuits. She was known by all the younger workers as "Ma". She was admired and respected due to her loving, caring and compassionate spirit. Gloria loved babies and children the most. She had 11 grandchildren by her daughter in laws Cathy, Roxanne and Tammy. 15 great and 3 great great grandchildren. Services will be in the spring/summer followed by internment at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.
