Obituary	MRS. SOPHIA L. CURRIER Funeral services were conducted Wednesday afternoon, Feb. 27, at the Clark-Mitchell Funeral Home, Bangor, for Mrs. Sophia L. Currier, 89, a former resident of Dexter. She died Monday morning at her late home on Fifth st., Bangor. Entombment will be in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery with burial in the family lot in the Spring. Mrs. Currier was born in Greenville, daughter of the Rev. Franklin and Judith Ann Frye. She made her home in the Bangor area for 30 years. For many years she was a member of the Dexter Free Baptist Church, and was a member of Tuscan Chapter, OES, Bangor. She was the widow of Lewis E. Currier. She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Elsie Whitney of Bangor and Mrs. Vina Rich of Newport; a son, the Rev. George F. Currier, South Strafford Vt., a brother, John H. Frye, Guilford; four grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
