Obituary	DEXTER - eleanor Mernice Beatham, known by many as "Jiggs", went home to be with the Lord at age of 82, on November 22 at Sebasticook hospital in Pittsfield. Eleanor was born on February 2, 1939 in Dexter, where she also grew up, attended school, was married and raised four children. eleanor's hobbies included sewing and crafting. She also enjoyed outing with loved ones, including shopping and lunches with her best friend and sister, Betty, and two daughters, Debbie and Lisa. She particularly enjoyed travelling to visit her nieces, Shawna and Pamela and their families, In the summertime, she savored the warm weather and frequented outdoor concerts. She attended New hope Baptist Church, and found fulfillment, selflessly serving others throughout her entire life, and even until the end of her time here, passionately and energetically loving and caring for friends and family whenever the opportunity arose. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend, and was loved and cherished by everyone who knew her. She will be sadly missed, but she leaves behind a legacy of benevolence that will live on through generations. Eleanor is preceded in death by her father Coburn Cooley and mother Virginia Cooley/Andrews, siblings, Rufus and Evelyn; husband, Dalton Beatham; and son Dale Beatham. She is survived by her sister, Elizabeth "Betty"Rrichards; her three children and spouses, Debbie & Doug Gauthier; Scott & Sherry Beatham; Lisa & Rick Martin; grandchildren,Elijah Gudroe and wife, Nicole, Kendra Mason and husband Robert,Noah Farnham and partner Brittany, Ryan Farnham and fiance Janessa, Daylan Sadlowski and fiance Amber, and Samantha Beatham; great-grandchildren, Tristan,Morgan, Levi, Khloe, Isaac, Kai, Eliana, Greyson,Silas, Juliette and Aubrei; as well as may other friends and family. due to family illnesses, a service is not planned at this time. A "Celebration of life" will be held in her memory, tentatively in the springtime, with the date still to be decided.
