Obituary	DEXTER – Darrell A. Murray, 95, died November 17, 2021 at a Dover-Foxcroft assisted living facility. He was born March 2, 1926 in Corinna, a son of Wilfred and Grace (Giles) Murray. Darrell grew up on a farm in Garland. He served in an Army hospital in Italy during World War II and the Korean War. He retired as a machinist at FayScott Landis in Dexter and was a member of the American Legion and the V.F.W. Darrell was a fixture at the local bakery in Dexter socializing with his friends. He loved working on lawn mowers and loved to help others in any way he could. He is survived by a son Mark Murray of Dexter; daughter Marsha Brewer of Corinna; 2 sisters Pauline Getchell of Falmouth and Charlotte Wright of Londonderry, NH; 4 grandchildren, Megan and Matthew Murray, Heather Eunson and Misty Krause; 3 great grandchildren, Natalie, Luke and Kaitlyn; many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife Marlene; brothers, Floyd, Kenneth, Mervin and Royce; and a sister Evelyn Murray. Graveside services at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Dexter, will be held at the convenience of the family.
