Obituary	RIPLEY – Phyllis M. Glidden, 92, died Feb. 24, 2014, at a Pittsfield nursing home. She was born Sept. 17, 1921, in St. Albans, the daughter of Philander and Edna Knowles. She was a member of the 7th Day Advent Church in Dexter. She was predeceased by her husband of 55 years, William J. Glidden. She is survived by a son, Bruce Glidden and his wife, Joanne, of Dexter; two daughters Mrs. James “June” Clukey and Mrs. Phillip “Jeanette” Clukey all of Ripley; nine grandchildren, Bill, Diane, Jeremy, Christopher, Lisa, Dominic, Heather, Scott, and Rick; and 16 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, March 1, at 7th Day Adventist Church, on the corner of Spring and Mill Streets, Dexter, with close family friend, Mike Robbins officiating. The service will be followed by a potluck meal. Graveside services will be held in the spring at West Ripley Cemetery, Ripley. Arrangements by Crosby & Neal, Dexter.
