Obituary
DEXTER – Polly Poulin, 90, passed away August 11, 2021 at a Dover-Foxcroft hospital following a brief illness. She was born June 9, 1931 in Dexter, a daughter of Preston and Celena (Ronco) Richardson, Sr. She attended Dexter schools and lived locally until she married Joseph “Tony” Poulin of Skowhegan. They travelled the United States, Hawaii and the Philippines during her husband’s military career in the United States Air Force. After an accident in the Philippines, they settled back in Dexter to reside and raise their 4 children. Polly attended the Pentecostal Church of Dexter until she was unable to drive. She enjoyed her Christian life. She was a great friend to many with her compassionate heart and ready smile. Her favorite moments were spending time with her family at her camp on Echo Lake. She especially loved nature, animals and little children. The grandchildren will always remember the happy holidays spent at the big house on Mill Street, and their grandmother making sure everyone had enough to eat. Polly is survived by a daughter, Cheryl Fogler of Dexter; sons, Ricky and wife Linda of Corinna, Gary and wife Hope of Hermon; a daughter-in-law, Trina of Ashland; 11 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild; many nieces and nephews. A special thanks and love to her friends Andrea and Gloria. In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by a son Eric, 2 sisters Jane Webber and Gloria Rashing; and a brother Preston “Jere” Richardson, Jr. There will be no visitation at her request. A private graveside funeral and committal service will be held at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Dexter. Arrangements are by Crosby & Neal, Dexter.
