Obituary	DEXTER – Carol Anne Feurtardo, 78, passed June 20, 2021 at her residence. She was born August 23, 1942 in Portland, a daughter of Garnet Walter Gourley and Mae (Davis) Gourley. She grew up in Rowley, MA and attended Northeastern University. She married Walter Feuerstein on February 2, 1963 and had a son, James Walter Feuerstein. She married Ronald Harold Feurtado on April 18, 1970 and had a daughter, Selena Angela Feurtado and a son Vahid Kamal Feurtado. She lived in NY, WV, OR and NH before coming to Dexter in 1992. Carol joined the Baha’i Faith on January 15, 1968 and was active in the Baha’i community wherever she lived. Carol was active in the Dexter Historical Society and enjoyed genealogical research. She also wrote for newspapers, assisted several community theater groups in NH and ME and was a volunteer in libraries. She like reading and long walks in the woods. Burial will be in the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Dexter. A memorial service will be scheduled at a later date. Arrangements are by Crosby & Neal, Dexter.
