Obituary	MRS. MELLEM WHITE Funeral services for Mrs. Mary P. White, 70, wife of Mellem White, who died late Saturday evening at the local hospital after a long illness, were held Tuesday morning at St. Anne's Catholic Church. The Rev. Josephat P. Sevigny officiated. The remains were placed in the receiving tomb to await burial next spring in Mt. Pleasant cemetery. Bearers were: Dennis Cleaves, Melvin Clakey, Albert Landry, Bernard Dyer, Earl Ellms and Guy Ellms. Mrs. Willie Comeau, daughter Emelia and sons, Simon and Roger, of St. Louis, N. B. Canada, Mr. and Mrs. Eddie Savoy, Anthony Richards and Miss Madeline Richard of Old Town were in Dexter to attend the funeral. She was born at St. Louis, N. B., March 25, 1886, daughter of Alazar and Mary (Voutour) Guimond. She was a member of St. Anne's Catholic Church. Besides her husband, Mellem, she is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Doris McKenney of Corinna and Mrs. Rosaline Grover, of Waterville; five sisters, Mrs. Emily Savoy of Old Town, Mrs. Agnes Godreau, Moncton, N. B., Mrs. Lucy Comeau, St. Louis, N. B., Mrs. Colette Daigle and Mrs. Olesia Comeau, both of St. Charles, N. B.; three brothers, Prespres and Joseph of St. Louis, N. B., Romain of Caudiville, N. B.; three grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
