Obituary	MRS. GERTRUDE E. SMART Funeral services were held Tuesday morning at the Crosby Funeral Home for Mrs. Gertrude E. Smart, 77, widow of John H. Smart, who died Saturday at the Dexter hospital after a brief illness. The Rev. Howard E. Benson of the Methodist Church officiated. Bearers were: Philip Smart, Linwood Seavey, Horace Flanders and Reuben Smith. Interment was in the Jackman Corner cemetery Sangerville. Born at Parkman, Jan. 15, 1879, she was the daughter of John M. and Myra (Peabody) Richardson. Most of her life was lived in Dexter where she married Herbert J. Farnham, who died in 1929. Later, she married John H. Smart, who died several years ago. Survivors are several nieces and nephews.
