Obituary	Maxine was born in Dexter Maine in 1925. She grew up and lived most of her life in Ripley, Maine. She attended Higgins Classical institute in Charlestown, Maine. she worked at Plummer memorial Hospital in Dexter and attended Nursing School at sisters Hospital in Waterville. she was a member of the U.S. Cadet Nurses Core(p?). In later years she worked at the Bangor State Hospital. she married and moved to New Hampshire with her two daughters Karen and Judith. she had five grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, and two great-great grandcildren. Maxine worked at the Rockingham County Nursing Home in the Mitchell building for 11 years. She also served at Police Patrol matron (LPN) for the Deerfield NH Police department for several years. Maxine has enjoyed doing crafts and crocheting all her life and she always had a project in the works. Another hoppy was cooking, canning and freezing seasonal fruits and vegetables. she had wonderful stories of snowmobiling, ice fishing and great times at the family camp on Ripley Pond. She was a straight shooter, and with her sharp Maine accent, always told it like it was. No holding back with Maxine!
