Obituary	NATHAN T. DOWNS Funeral services for Nathan T. Downs, 71, who died last Thursday at Fairfield after a long illness, were held Monday afternoon at the Crosby Funeral Home, Dexter. The Rev. Howard E. Benson of the Methodist Church officiated. Bearers were: LeRoy Knowlton, Edward Lambert, Manford Page and Earl Savage, all of Dexter. Interment was in the Bassett cemetery at Dover-Foxccroft. He was born in Stetson, July 23, 1885 son of Mr. and Mrs. George Downs. The family has lived in Dexter for over 30 years. He was employed by the Fayscott Corporation. He is survived by his wife, Florence; three sons, Robert, Carroll and Robert, all of Dexter; two sisters, Mrs. Carrie Page, Dover-Foxcroft, Mrs. Emily Blethen, Bangor, one brother, Robert; and four grandchildren.
