Coretta A Brown (McPhetres) (Mountain) April 26, 1936-October 15, 2020 Sangerville. she was born at home on the family farm in Sangerville to her parents Madeline and Ralph McPhetres. She graduated from Piscataquis Community High School in 1955. She was married in 1957 to Robert P. Mountain and later to Frank Brown. She tended to her children for many years before entering the workforce and began working at Dexter Shoe from 1968 to the year 2000 when she retired. Since retirement she has resided in Dexter in a small home where she enjoyed living nearby family to celebrate daily events and holidays. She enjoyed time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren and watching them all grow up. She was involved in the Women's Auxiliary and enjoyed the wildlife around the area. She had a love of birdwatching. She was a very quiet person by nature and had a demeaner that serve her well through her life and would keep up with the current events while watching the nightly news to catch up on what was going on around the world. She loved to watch her favorite tv programs, and knitting was a beloved hobby. She lived near her youngest daughter Patty. She enjoyed outings and gathering with family special outings with her sisters monthly. They would gather to meet for lunch and have their hair done while they enjoyed their time together. She is Survived by Daughters Beveryl (John) Hartford, Patricia (Lorenzo) Pizarro, and Son Darel (Maria) Mountain. Also, Grand Children Benjamin (Darcie) Hartford, Nicholas (Emily) Hartford, Stephanie Wiehn, Sarah (Dan) Seigars, Daniel (Meagan) Wiehn, Joseph Wiehn (Darleene Bishop) Melissa Mountain and Great Childchildren Emma and Caleb Hartford, Avery and Ellie Hartford, Maverick Wiehn, Addy, porter and (baby arriving in March)Asher Seigars, Audrey and Finn Wiehn, Wyatt and Charlotte Wiehn including many nieces and nephews. Also survived by sisters Jeanette (Dale) Easler, Barbie Woodard, and brother Paul "Pudge", predeceased by Mother Madeline, Father Ralph, brothers Phillip and Ralph "Judge", Sister in Laws Maxine and Patty McPhetres and brother in law Dale Woodard. A small family gathering has been planned for Sunday October 25 at Elmwood Cemetery.
