Waynetta A. Chabot November 21, 1944 - November 12, 2020 Facebook Twitter reddit TEXT SIZE A A A EXETER AND NEWPORT - Waynetta Ann Chabot, 75, died November 12, 2020, at a Bangor health care facility. She was born November 21, 1944, in Greenville, a daughter of James and Jessie (Murray) Clukey. She loved to spend time with family, cooking, gardening, arts and crafts, and hunting. She still holds the record for the largest deer in the family since 1994. She helped with the Boy Scouts in Dexter for many years. Waynetta also helped coach rec. center baseball. She was an active member of various community service projects and was a communicant of Our Lady of The Snows parish, St. Anne's Catholic Church in Dexter. She is survived by her children, Daniel and Angela Chabot of Suffolk, Virginia, James and Tara Chabot of Corinna, Terrance and Brandi Chabot of Newport, and William Chabot of Portland; her brother Urban and Janice Clukey of Cambridge; 8 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; her sister-in-law, Sally Clukey of Baileyville; and a number of brothers and sisters-in-law on the Chabot side. She was predeceased by her parents, her husband Francis Chabot, and brother Terrence Clukey. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, there will be no visitation. A private committal will be held at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Dexter, for the immediate family. Deacon David Denbow will preside. The family would like to thank everyone who helped with Waynetta's care.
