Obituary	Clinton H. Skillings, 84, died June 18 at a Pittsfield nursing home following a long illness. He was born in Ripley May 6, 1895, the son of Herbert and Iara Wakefield Skillings. He lived I Ripley most of his life, served in the U,S. Army during World War 1; was employed in Skowhegan shoe shop until his retirement. He is survived by his wife, Ethel Lord Skillings of Pittsfield one son, Clarence Skillings of East Corinth; a foster son, Robert Hardy of Harmony; a brother, Jessie Skillings of Ripley; three foster-grandchildren, Kevin, Jeffrey and Rita al of Harmony, nieces, nephews and cousins, Graveside services were June 20 at the Ferndale Cemetery, Ripley.
