Obituary	Elva Atwater, 73, wife of Randall "Sonny" E. Atwater III of 54 years, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on May 5,2019. She was born January 19, 1946 in Island Falls, a daughter of Harold and Mary (Hurlbert) Connor. She graduated from Piscataquis Community High School, Class of 1965. She was employed asa CNA medtech for 26 years at Dexter Health Care. She loved spending time with family, going on long walks and gardening. In addition to her husband, she will be missed by her loving children, Debra Boyd of Pittsfield, Randall Atwater IV and wife Stacey, Jamie Atwater and wife Lori, all of Dexter, and Penny Atwater of Newport. She was loved by 9 grandchildren, Naomi and Crystal Clark, Holly Pooler, Sarah and Heather Atwater, Michael and Timothy Woodbury, Kaitlyn and Ellie McComb; 4 great grandchildren. She is also survived by a brother, Daniel Connor and wife Annie of Fayetteville, NC; sisters Patricia Hussey and husband George of Winn, Cora Connor and Violet Hunt, both of Abbott. Elva was predeceased by her brother Hugh Michaud, and sisters, Cecilia Hussey and Myrtle Rand. A graveside committal will be held at a later date at Abbott Village Cemetery.
