Obituary	Charles M. Ellms Sr., 78, died suddenly at his Ripley residence, January 10. He was born in Ripley, August 26, 1900, son of A. Lamont and Eva Weymouth Ellms. He was employed by Dexter Hardware and Fay and Scott Machine Shop for several years. He was a past member of the Ripley Grange and a lifetime member of the Dexter Fish and Game Association. He is survived by his wife, Ethalinda (Eaton) Ellms; one son, Charles (Buddy) Ellms.,Jr. both of Ripley, two daughters, Mrs. Marjorie Noyes, Raymond, N.H. and Ethalinda Dow, Fryeburg; one brother, Edward of Ripley, one aunt, Susan Sampson, Dexter. Also, five great grandchildren. There will be no calling hours. Friends wishing may contribute to the Maine Lung Association. Contributions may also be left at Crosby Funeral Home, Dexter. Private funeral services will be held January 12.
