Obituary	Roger E. Flynn, 53, died December 15 after a long illness at a Waterville hospital. He was born in Grand Rapids, Mich. Jan.25, 1923, the son of William and Mary (Holcomb) Flynn. He served U.S. Navy for four years and was a member of the Shirley Carter VFW Post. He operated a service in Dexter for six years and was employed by the local garages as a mechanic for several years. He is survived by his wife Mrs. Alice (Wright) Flynn of Ripley: his father of Grand Rapids; four sons, Stephen, Michael, Patrick, all of Ripley, and Roger of Enfield, Conn; three daughters, rs. Sandra Silverman, of Dexter, Mrs, Robert Janie Fritsch of Weathersfield. Conn..and Mrs, Sharon Boyington of Enfield, Conn; one sister Mrs. Beatrice Koetsier, of Grand Rapids, four brothers Herbert and Elwin both of Grand Rapids, Walter and Leonard of Caledonia, Mich. Funeral services were December 17 at the Crosby Funeral Home in Dexter. Friends who wish may contribute to a charity of their choice in his memory.
