Obituary	Marie Gilbert, 83, died peacefully December 3, 2017. she was born February 10, 1934 in Dexter a daughter of Eugene and Sadie (Moore) Mountain. She married Robert Gilbert on May 3, 1952. She was a communicant of St. Annes Catholic Church, a member of the Dexter Sunshine Club and volunteered at the Dexter Historical society and Our Ladys Kitchen. She is survived by two sons, Bruce and his wife Patty Gilbert of Dexter, Brian Gilbert and his partner Diane LaCourse of North Yarmouth, and daughter Laura Hall of Wiscasset; a sister Donna and husband Daniel Harkins of Florida; 3 grandchilren Ava, Aiden and mason; many nieces and nephews. She will also be missed by her dear friends Leola Pingree and Cathy Frankowski. Marie was predeceased by her husband Bob and her many brothers and sisters, Paula, Eugene, Jr., James, Priscilla, Reginald and Robert. There will be no visiting hours. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1PM Thursday, December 7th, at St Annes Church, Free Dexter, with the Rev.Fr.Emile Dube and Deacon David Denbow officiating. Spring burial eill be in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Dexter. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Dexter Sunshine Club c/o Mrs. Nancy Baldwin, 59 Acadia Street, Dexter, ME 04920.
