Donald L. Deering, 42, died suddenly at his home in Ripley, June 28, He was born in Hartland, Oct. 18, 1933, the son of Albert and Edith Whitten Deering of Hartland. He graduated from Hartland Academy and at the time of his death was employed by the Dexrer Shoe Company, He was master of the Cambridge Masonic Lodge. He is survived by his parents; his wife, Marjorie Gould Deering; one son, Bruce, and two daughters, Kim and Tammy. Also surviving are one brother, Maynard Deering of Hartland; two sisters, Mrs..Phyllis Sinclair of Ripley and Mrs. Gadys Gilbert, Dexter; and one grandson. Funeral services will be held Thursday at the Crosby Funeral Home, Dexter, at 1:00 p.m. with the Rev. Paul Marshall of the United Methodist Churches of Dexter and Ripley officiating. Masonic services will be held at the funeral home Wednesday at 7:30 p,m. Visiting hours at the home will be Wednesday from 3-4 and 7-9 p.m Burial will be in the Ferndale Cemetery, Ripley
