Obituary	Mrs. Maude Sawyer, 69, died DEC 24 in her Ripley residence. She was the widow of Othie Sawyer. She was born in Solon, May 1, 1906, daughter of Adelbert and Alice Doyle Roach. She was a member of the Ripley Methodist Church, the Ripley Ladies Aid and the Christmas Carol Club. She was a member of the Ripley Grange for over 25 years and at one time held the office of Chaplain in that order, She is survived by her step-father Walter Richardson of Ripley; and five sons, Ralph, Harold, Richard, Arnold and Stanley Sawyer all of Ripley and one step-son, Maurice Sawyer of St,Albans; two brothers, Henry Richardson of Hartland and William Richardson of Dexter; five sisters, Mrs.Evelyn Morton and Mrs. Edith Hanblett of Florida, Mrs, Gertrude McKusick, Mrs,Lucina Mauchan and Mrs, Louise Deslaurieso of Mass., several nephews and 10 grandchildren. Funeral services were Dec,27 at the Ripley United Methodist Church
