James "Jim" Laferriere, 74, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, January 9, 2018. He was born August 14, 1943 in Eagle Lake, a son of Leon and Eva (Paradis) Laferriere. He was a graduate of Dexter High School and was a communicant of St. Annes Catholic Church in Dexter. He proudly owned and operated Jims Exxon station in the town of Dexter during the 1970s where many friendships and fond memories were made. He later worked for the Dexter Shoe Co. for several years as a tractor trailer driver until he retired. Jim was a former member of the Dexter JayCees. He loved music and especially enjoyed playing his guitar at family gatherings. He is survived by his wife and best fiiend of 54 years, Betty (Dube) Laferriere, daughter Annette Dellaire and partner Joseph Molinari of Litchfield, NH, son Robert Laferriere and his wife Patty (Strafford) Laferriere of Gotham, ME, his grandchildren Ashley (Dellaire) Breen and her husband Stephen Breen of Londonderry, NH, Justin Dellaire and his wife Mallory (Curran) Dellaire of Merrimack, NH. He loved his family more than anything, they were his world. Dad (Buppa) "We love you more." A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on January 17th, at St. Annes Church, Free Street, Dexter.
