Obituary
Marilyn Bolduc, 84, died December 26, 2017 at a Bangor hospital. She was born September 14, 1933 in Newport, a daughter of James and Florence Delia (Lynch) Bryson, Sr. She graduated from Newport High School, Class of 1953 and attended community college at Dow Field in Bangor. She was the activity director at Dexter Nursing Home for a long time and had previously worked at R.H. Renys for many years. A self-employed seamstress, Marilyn helped with the annual operetta doing much of the costume work and also made the cheerleader uniforms at Dexter Regional High School. A large hearted lady, she and Leo cared for a number of people young and old in the Dexter area. She is survived by her son, Jeffrey and wife Heidi of Littleton, NH; a sister, Dorothy "Dot" Fernald of Newport; a granddaughter, Brittni DeRosia, her husband Mike, and great grand daughter Emersyn, all of Littleton, NH; a grandson Justin Whipple, his wife Nicole, and great graadson Jackson, al1 of Raymond, NH; a grandson Nicholas Whipple of Littleton, NH; several nieces and nephews; and Marilyns "fur baby", Bella. She is also survived by her second family, Bill and Joni Alfond and their children, Justin, Kenden, and Reis. She will also be remembered by dear friends, Mike McDonough and Barbara Ann Wakefield. Marilyn was predeceased by her husband Leo Bolduc in 1983. A memorial serwice will be held at l1 A. M. Saturday, January 13th at Crosby & Neal, 117 Main Street, Newport. A celebration of life will be held following the service at the Millenium, 416 Oxbow Road, Palmyra.
