Obituary	Olive Maxine (Shorey) Henderson, 80, went home to be with her Lord and Savior November 26,2017 with her husband of 3 years Willard Henderson and children by her side. She was born September 22, 1937 daughter of Dell and Beulah (Welch) Shorey in Montville. She attended Corinna Union Academy. On June 15, 1954 she married the love of her life Willard Henderson. Together they raised 5 children. Olive worked many years hand sewing shoes for Dexter Shoe and also worked at Eastland Woolen Mill. One of her proudest accomplishments later in life was receiving her GED and going on to complete a CNA course which allowed her to work at Hartland Nursing home, allowing her to care for her mother there. It brought her great joy to take care of her mother as well as the other residents there. The 30+ years prior to retiring she worked side by side with her husband in Maine Harness Racing. She was an avid golfer and really enjoyed getting outside even in recent years when she couldnt golf she would ride in the golf cart and keep score when her husband and children would golf together. She enjoyed flowers, puzzles, family, friends and attending church at Railroad Avenue Pentecostal Church. In addition to her husband of Dexter she is survived by 3 daughters and 2 sons. Nancy Hartsgrove of Plymouth, Brenda Thibodeau of Stetson, Mary Nickerson and her husband Bill of Katy, TX, David Henderson and his wife Joanne of Corinna, Alton Henderson and his wife Debbie of Auburn. Also 2 sisters Edith Burnham of Dexter and Beverly Stankevitz of Corinna, 11 grand-children, 22 great grandchildren and 1 great great granddaughter, special sister-in-law Sandra Cossar of Exeter and many nieces and nephews, a special niece Eunice Watson who recently cared for her daily. She was predeceased by her parents and 2 brothers and 2 sisters, Earl Shorey of Corinna, Ruth Tyler of Albion, Beryl Huntly of Corinna, Rodney Shorey of Albion.
