Obituary	MRS. MARY C. GRANGER A committal service was held last Thursday at Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Dexter, for Mrs. Mary Constance Granger, 52, of Boothbay Harbor, formerly of this town. Mrs. Granger died that Monday in a Boothbay Harbor hospital. Funeral services were conducted earlier in the afternoon at the Simmons and Harrington Funeral Home at Boothbay Harbor. The Rev. Ivan Welty of the Congregational Church officiated. She was born June 2, 1904 at Dexter, daughter of George A. and Marion Ethel (Brann) Smart. For about 30 years she had been a resident of Boothbay Harbor where she taught school, and for the past 10 years had been medical secretary in the office of Dr. Philip Gregory. She was a member of the Congregational Church and its Guild in that town. Surviving are two sons, Peter of Charleston, West Virginia and James of Marblehead, Mass., three sisters, Mrs. Grace Packard of Boothbay Harbor, Mrs. Almon Page of Dexter, and Miss Marion Smart of Norwood, Mass., a brother, Raleigh Smart of Dexter; and six grandchildren.
