Obituary	A. Clyde Hemenway, 81,died March 19, 1988, at a Dover-Foxcroft hospital. He was born in Manchester, August 14, 1906, the son of Almon E. Fannie (Sawyer) Hemenway. He was employed at Fayscott-Landis machine shop from age 17 until he retired as foreman of the drill room in 1959. He is survived by his wife, Aletha (Haseltine ) Hemenway of Ripley; three daughters, Iris Haskins of Dover-Foxcroft, Joyce Carr of Corinna and Priscilla Adams of Fort Worth, Texas; 15 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. He as predeceased by a brother, Clarence Heenway and a sister Ireia Stevens .Friends called Monday at Crosby Funeral Home, Dexter. Funeral services were held Tuesday at the United Methodist Church in Ripley, with Pastor Helen Zigmond, officiating.
