Obituary	Vernal V. Sinclair, 53 of Ripley died Tuesday after a long illness. He was born in Harmony March 2, 1920, son of Elroy and Violet Thompson Sinclair. He was employed for a time by the State Highway Department. Recently he was employed as a hand sewer in area shoe factories. He was a member of the U.S. Trotting Association. Survivors include his widow, Phyllis Deering Sinclair, Ripley, his mother, Mrs. Violet Sinclair, Ripley; his grandmother, Mrs. Alta Thompson, Ripley; three sons, Vernal M., Ronald and Gary, all of Ripley three daughters, Mrs. Roger (Wilma) Wintle of Dexter, Mrs. Theodore (Beverly) Erving, Harmony, Mrs. Elwin (Bonnie) Smart Hartland; one brother, Louie Sinclair, Harmony 14 grandchildren. Funeral services are being held today (Thursday) at 1p.m. at the Crosby Funeral Home Dexter
