Obituary
Dr. Louis L. DiPompo, 52, died suddenly in Newport, June 7. He was born May 5, 1920 in Ripley, the son of Roscoe Rocco ad Genivianno (Fjjsco) DiPompo. Dr. DiPompo attended Ripley schools ad Jay High School. He graduated from Colby College where he was a member of Lambi Chi Faternity. . He is a graduated of the Philadelphia School of Osteopathy and practices in Corinna for 21 years. He is a past member of the American Legion in Corinna, and the Maine Osteopathic Association. He was a school director and the health officer in Corinna and served as a medic overseas in World War II Dr. DiPompo was on the staff at the Plummer Memorial Hospital of which he was chief of services in 1971 and was a member of the Taylor Osteopathic Hospital He is survived by his wife, Christine (Etmentrout) of Corinna; two sons, Charles and Raymond, both of Corinna; two daughters, Cheryl and Mary, both of Corinna; three brothers, Quido DiPompo of West Peru, Tony DiPompo of Ripley, Robert DiPompo of Jay; three sisters Mrs Walter (Reta) Hewitt of Wilton, Mrs. William (Rosie) Dolinski Jr of Franklinville, N,,J.;and Mrs. Richard (Angie) Magoon of Livermore Falls. Funeral services were held Saturday at St. Annes Catholic Church, Dexter. Rosary was said at the funeral hone Friday evening. Burial was in the Holy Gross Cemetery, Livermore Falls.
