DEXTER- Ella Louise Gideon Wintle Munday followed her dream to be a Spirit in the sky on February 6th, 2015. "Born a Gideon, loved as a Wintle, embraced by the Laughtons and celebrated as a Munday". Having left an amazing mark on so many through the years in art, farming, friendship and love from Georgia to Maine, many know Ella was a strong woman that lived life on her own terms who always made the best out of nothing. Ella had art studios in Winder, Georgia and Dexter. She was involved with Dexter Hoard of Appeals, Hospice Volunteer Committee Library, Comprehensive Planning Committee, Recreation Department, Kiwanis, Community Play Ground Committee and the Wakefield Scholarship Committee as well as the Ripley Historical Society. She was instrumental in the design of Ridgeview Regional Community School. She was also on the HAD#4 Board of Directors. Ella is survived by her husband, Eric Munday of Dexter; her mother, Marilyn Wintle of Guilford; her siblings, Fred Wintle and his wife, Joan of Garland, Alan Wintle and his wife. Pearl of Dexter, Beverly Jordan and her husband, Greg of Sangerville, Carol Getchell and her husband, Linal of Ripley, Donna Olson and her husband, Duane of Harmony; Johnny and his wife, Micha, and Maria and Theresa Gideon, all of Georgia and Joanne Gideon of Mississippi; brother, Fred Gideon and his wife, Kathy of Savannah, GA; her children Rhonda Wirebaugh and her husband. Wade of Warsaw, IN, Rae-Shawna Costonis and her husband, Joel of Dexter, Rachel Santiago and her husband, Ederick of Mary Esther, FL and JR Laughton of Dover Foxcroft; grandchildren. Remington and Katelynn Wirebaugh of Warsaw IN, Ansalewit Laughton, Gianni and Josephine Costonis of Dexter, Joshua Santiago of Mary Esther, IT., and Jocye Rayne Laughton of Georgia; a foster son. Bill Mikoliza of Jackson, Mo; as well as many nieces and nephews. A Memorial Celebration of Life will be held 6 to 8 PM, February 20, 2015 at the Dexter American Legion Hall.
