Obituary	DANIEL L. WHITMORE Funeral services for Daniel L. Whitmore, age 89, who died Sunday night at an Augusta Hospital, were held at the Crosby Funeral Home Wednesday afternoon with the Rev. Lynwood Putnam of the Free Baptist officiating. Burial was in Mt. Pleasant cemetery. Born in Fort Fairfield in 1867, he was the son of Daniel and Hannah Lyons Whitmore. He was a member of the Dexter First Free Baptist Church. One daughter survives, Mrs. Ora Gray of Boston. There are also seven surviving grandchildren. Bearers were Wilson and Everett Bennett, Allie Towle, and Roy Towle Sr.
