Obituary	Frank G. Laughton, 57, died Monday evening at the Plummer Memorial Hospital in Dexter following al long illness. He was born at Ripley, March 23, 1911, the son of John S. and Mary (Merrill) Laughton. He was a member of the Cambridge Masonic Lodge, Ripley Grange, the Farm Bureau, New England Milk Producers, which he had served as president and secretary and was chairman of the Somerset County Soil Conservation. He was an Agway Committeeman, had served as selectman and constable in the town of Ripley for many years and also as tax collector. He was director of the D,R.I. Association and was a former member of the Ripley School Committee. Survivors are his widow Mrs. Veneine (West) Laughton; two sons Reginald of Kent, Ohio .and Ronald of Ripley; four brothers, John and James, both of Ripley, Edward of Hartland and Andrew of Wayland, Mass; four sisters Mrs. Rena Eaton, Durham, N.H. Mrs. Adelman Sevey and Mrs. Flora Britten, both of Ripley and Mrs. Susan Jewett of Carmel, four grand-children; one uncle; nephews, nieces and cousins. Funeral services will be held Thursday (Today at 1:30p.m. ) at the Ripley Methodist Church with the Rev. Gordon Parlin officiating. Burial will be in West Ripley Cemetery.
